breathing air again.

Show's over.
Lesson plans are ready for next week.
School will be finished (forever) in a month.
It's the weekend.

I got my car back today, and spent a good 40 minutes driving, windows down, sun shining, singing.
For fun.  With no expectations, or listeners, or pressure or anything.

I spent three hours of a beautiful Saturday afternoon sitting in the park outside of Central Market writing pages about all the things I haven't had time to over the past few months. Not finished yet, but it's a start.

And I'm finally getting time to process and think about everything.
Time to breathe.
To get out from under all of the things that have been smothering me all semester-
All of the crappy things that have happened.
And all of the not-so-crappy things.
And the future.
And how I feel about all of it.

And having a day to breathe, and write, and think - it's a start.
And this is a good place to be.

It's good to be alive
