I know I talk bad about this cat a lot. And yes, sometimes she is mean and loud and scratches me for no reason. But honestly, she's been here for me all summer when others haven't. And for that reason, I am thankful for her. Not that I don't have friends. I have great friends. But sometimes they're gone or at work or don't have cars and can't come over. Or I'm puking my guts out (cool, huh? Welcome to my weekend.) and I refuse to allow another human to come anywhere near me.
Bottom line is, it's been a rough summer, and I'm very thankful for this little girl who is usually willing to cuddle when I need it the most. It's nice to have some company. I'm not a cat person, but I will make an exception for her. ...most days.
