1. This morning, we were learning about different types of landforms. We were watching a video that explained them and showed pictures, and also had the vocabulary for students to copy.
Voice on the Video: "A canyon can also be called a gorge, a chasm, or a ravine..."I guess it was the way he said it, because I honestly thought it was so funny and obnoxious. ...lolz.
My student yells out: "OH! That says RAVINE?! I thought it said RAVEN!"
2. At recess, my class was playing tag. One of my students grabbed a stick, ran into the middle of the group, stopped and waved it around a few times as if it were a magic wand. So my brain goes, "Yeah, he shouldn't be waving a stick around right now." So I say, "[Name], put the wand down please!"
What I meant to say was stick, but then I suppose I subconsciously decided I was a teacher at Hogwarts and it really was a wand. I had to laugh at myself for legitimately telling a student to put down his wand. So silly.

You should have picked up a stick and said: "Expelliarmus!"
And Raven is hilarious, too.
You are the coolest Hogwarts teacher ever!!!
